Ujamaa CDC partnered with Catholic Charities, Fannie Mae, Providence Community Housing and Chase Bank to build three NEW homes on Dumaine and North Roman Streets. The sites for these homes were vacant blighted lots prior to construction. Each home features a modern floor plan with 3 bedrooms and 2 complete baths and are approximately 1350 square feet in total. These homes were offered to individuals at a greatly reduced cost of around $102,000. We are happy to report that Ujamaa CDC currently has purchase agreements with displaced families for all three homes. These homes go a long way towards improving both the neighborhood and the economic standing of its owners.
